Let the Games Begin!
Posted by M. Patel under News
It is finally that time of year again. Spring training games have begun! I am really excited for this upcoming season, especially because I think we have a legit shot at a title. Today several teams hit the fields including our cross town rivals, the Mets. The Yanks also had a game of their own, except it was an intrasquad game. It wasn’t the prettiest of games, with seven errors committed, but the field conditions were bad with wet grass and a lot of wind. Still not something to be happy about, but its just some rust that will go away soon. The outcome of the game was the Geese beating the Gators 6-2. Our first game against another team is this Saturday (March 1st) against the Phillies.
In other Yankee news is another story concerning Mitchell madness. I didn’t want to dedicate a whole post to it because I think that subject has already taken up to many posts. But anyway, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has asked the Department of Justice to investigate whether Roger Clemens lied under oath, hence committing perjury. Who didn’t see this coming?
